ASHTON’S K9 CLASSES LLC

Hello and thanks for stopping by!
My name is Ashton, and I've been training dogs since 2018. Growing up, I was surrounded by various breeds, primarily German Shepherds in addition to a Cocker Spaniel, St. Bernard, Miniature Pinschers, Labradors, and a few good ole mutts.
As an adult, I developed a love for Retrievers and their cheerful and eager-to-please nature. Currently, I have three Labradors, and a Golden Retriever of my own!
In 2017, my husband and I decided to raise a puppy for Canine Companions for Independence and thats when I really fell in love and got me started with training. Dozer is now a faithful service dog to a wonderful woman here in Ohio.
In August 2023, after nearly 12 years at Sugarcreek Vet, I left to dedicate more time to my son and pursue my passion for dog training. I never thought that it would take off the way it did and the decision has been incredibly fulfilling.
Initially focusing on basic obedience, I've developed a fondness for working with reactive dogs. Witnessing these dogs overcome their triggers, grow in confidence, and seeing their owners' confidence flourish is truly gratifying.
I consider myself a balanced dog trainer, blending positive reinforcement with the use of effective communication tools designed for our furry friends.
My team and I provide many types of training sessions to fit you and your dogs specific needs. Those types include, Level 1: Basic Obedience, Canine Good Citizen Prep and testing, Agility, Confidence Builder Courses, and E collar Courses. We also have 1:1 packages if you feel your dog needs more individualized training.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me anytime! (Phone call is best) I look forward to speaking with you about your K9!
